Historicity: The idol of this ancient temple is very distinct. It is believed to belong to the eighth century of the Vikram era. In the past, this was a very rich and prosperous city and it seems that many Jain families lived in it. This new temple is renovated and this idol is installed in it. A fair is held here on the tenth day of the bright half of the mouth of Magsar every year.

The skilled artists have applied all their skill to the making of this idol and have presented a specimen of matchless, wonderful and distinct type of art. On seeing the idol, one feels that Dharanendradev appears and holds the umbrella over Bhagawan head. It is difficult to find elsewhere-such an extraordinary idol.
